I am a very busy working mother of three boys and wife of a firefighter husband. Our lives get crazy from time to time, sometimes from minute to minute! We set out on our adventure about three years ago and, at the time it began, I didn’t have a minute to spare to capture our many comical and sometimes emotional experiences. So now I’m taking the time to record them all (or the ones that I can remember best) and it has been one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever done.
About 3 years ago, we purchased our first house outside the city limits. My husband had always wanted to live in the country and after a few run-ins with city scum, I was willing to give country living a shot. We both grew up in the city and had idealistic dreams of what the country would be like. For the most-part, it hasn’t been too far off what we expected. In fact we just purchased a small 17-acre farm. We love it! The boys love it!
This blog chronicles our adventure from the fall of 2014, when it all began, to the present day goings on. I’ve numbered the posts chronologically so while I’m getting caught up to the present, it’s not hard to follow which came first. However, each post is a small story of it’s own and can be read in any order.
